                    Vision Statement
               Beit Ohr Congregation

To bring Israel, Body of Yeshua, and all the nations to the Father of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob through a deeper understanding and revelation of the power of covenant.
Our purpose is to be a “place” of covenant restoration through reconciliation of Jews and Gentiles coming together as the “One New Man” Ephesians 2:14-17
We can accomplish this by being a bridge of unity and restoration between Israel and the Body of Christ and thereby releasing the fullness of God throughout all the earth.

Yah (Hebrew name for God) has established Beit Ohr [pron. “bait oar”] to be a bridge between the “church” and the Messianic congregations.  We believe that in order to go deeper in the Word of God you must see through the eyes of a Jewish Jesus.

A few years ago, I read a very profound statement. “We can pray the most eloquent-spoken prayer, but if it is not spoken as Adonai (another name for God) taught us, have we really achieved anything?”  That statement got me to thinking about everything in our life, that it needs to be done and said the way our Father taught us. The Father has given us His word by His Spirit to teach us all things. The Father‘s will and purpose for our lives can be found as we diligently search Torah (the first 5 books in the Bible). Very few of the “treasures” are found on the surface, but rather calls for digging deep to find the jewels of God’s word.

Our Messianic congregation relies totally on all the scriptures from Genesis 1:1 through Revelation 22:21.  Our faith in God‘s Holy Word is centered around a Jewish Messiah (Yeshua, Jesus) and the worldwide salvation He brings.  We believe that Yeshua (Jesus) is the promised Messiah and that we do not have to go through sages, rabbi’s, priests, or pastors to know God.  We can come boldly now before the Throne of God because of the atoning work of Yeshua haMashiach (Jesus, the Messiah).

We believe that God through His word gave us the law to bring and keep us in the right relationship with Him.  One of those laws is to remember and observe the seventh day (Saturday) each week as a Sabbath rest, and also to observe all the Feasts of the Lord as found in Leviticus 23.

We believe that just because man changed the importance of observing the Sabbath, keeping the Feasts, and studying the Torah, does not mean that God changed the importance.  Yeshua told His Disciples to “come and see.” Today our congregation invites you to COME AND SEE.
